GOJU RFID Wristbands contain a microchip and antenna with a unique identifier, allowing information to be written and retrieved by RFID scanners at any time. Patient information can be instantly accessed on all devices and applications in proximity - no need to scan, while data is stored for downstream analysis including billing, process improvement and infection surveillance.
2. Product Characteristics
Longer read distances & faster processing times：RFID yield longer read distances and faster processing times over bar code, saving precious time for caregivers who have to perform the essential task of positively identifying patients hundreds of times every day.
Scan the wristband from a distance：RFID does not require line-of-sight data transmission, so tags can be read through and around the human body, clothing, bed coverings and any non-metallic material. This enables the caregiver to scan the wristband from a distance without disturbing the patient.
Longer lasting：RFID tags are longer lasting. Where scratches or smearing on bar codes can make them impossible to read after some time, time has little to no impact on read rates for RFID tags which are embedded inside the wristband and hence protected from light, frictions and fluids.
Dynamic data carriers：RFID tags are dynamic data carriers, enabling updates to the encoded data at any time, where bar codes would require to be reprinted.
Increased security: RFID provides increased security over bar codes, which are easy to copy and duplicate.
Larger memory: RFID tags also yield larger memory capacities.
